Burrelles unveiled a rebrand, including a new corporate identity and a name change from BurrellesLuce.

Omnicom’s PR group saw revenue drop 5.3 percent to just under $340 million in Q3.

Agencies in the News

Digital PR/marketing agency Gavin of York, PA acquired nearby Holberg Design, a brand strategy and integrated design firm.

Chicago-based Motion, an integrated marketing agency, acquired Remedy, a healthcare-focused brand and design consultancy.

Travis York, CEO of GYK Antler, launched York Creative Collective with Pam Hamlin, former Global CEO of Arnold Worldwide, and Mark Battista, former EVP of Brand Experience at Arnold.

5WPR made an open call for potential acquisitions. The firm is seeking agencies with $1 to $5 million of annual revenue.

Talent on the Move

Washington, DC public affairs firm Invariant hired Stephanie Smith, former Global Chief Client and Development Officer of MSL, to build a strategic communications practice. 

Weber Shandwick announced several leadership changes, including promoting Sara Gavin to Chief Client Officer. Joy Farber Kolo will replace Gavin as President of North America for the firm. Chris Perry, Susan Howe, and Abby Gold also received title changes. 

Clarity PR launched a financial services practice and named Michael Celiceo to lead the group. The firm also named Jason Stark as CFO and Jacob Whitish as VP of Global Sales and Marketing.

Red Consultancy appointed Avril Lee as managing director of its Red Health team.

Hume Brophy named Edel Bach as UK managing director.

Former Congresswoman Susan Molinari who earlier this year left her role as VP of Public Policy for Google joined the APCO Worldwide International Advisory Council.

Charlotte’s LGA named Glen Hilzinger as Chief Creative Officer.
